Polyethylene
PE or polyethylene is the most common of all plastic wrapping. It is used in pallet wrapping machines to quickly and efficiently wrap merchandise. With a couple layers of PE film, any product can be secured for transit or storage. These films can be used to wrap by hand as well, and they make for a very sturdy cover for any merchandise.
This film is the industry standard for most wrapping machines and uses, due to its reliable design and cost effectiveness. It is a very inexpensive way to secure large and unstable merchandise, and it can be used to prevent shifting of products while they are in transit. It is also used to secure products on a pallet so they can be moved about a storage facility with ease. If the products are wrapped securely with PE film, they should not move while being sorted with a pallet jack, pallet stacker or forklift.
